General Data Protection Regulation
New data protection rules will impose greater obligations on organisations whilst giving more rights to individuals in relation to how their personal data is processed.
The rules are set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which is a piece of European legislation which comes into effect on 25 May 2018.
