A family member who is graduating next summer wanted a little advice in relation to any steps she could take now, before she graduates, that could help her land a role next year.
I gave her a few tips, the main one being its never too early to start building a network on LinkedIn of potential hirers or people who recruit graduates in her chosen field.
Between now and the end of July there are 34 weeks, 34 weeks of sending 100 connection requests out a week, which is obviously a ridicules amount of connections to send, but if your targeted enough you only need to send a handful which will help you build relationships now, well before the masses do the same thing around graduation time.
